Let her be!!!!!
Today is national girl child day.Just wonder if there is any day that says 'National Boy child day'.Hmmm..this seems to be absurd ...Right????What is the need to limit the celebrations to a single day if they starts right from the day a boy is born.
Definitely poor boy child has done nothing wrong that he should be deprived of any such privilege but you see nobody feels the need for it
The family tree of almost all the Indian families is unblessed with the people of this mentality that they will justify the need of a boy child .
There are many daughters in law in the Indian society who suddenly becomes proud owner of superiority complex after giving birth to a male child. Ofcourse they have their own reasons .
'Ajkal ka zamana kharab hai betiyan secure nahi hai'..This is one of the safest cover for parents not to want a girl child ......Arey mishap can occur to anybody..... Accidents have occured to boys too but I wonder how many couples have developed aversions for boys.
and you can't dilute the contributions of the parents whose daughters have faced these agonies and still stood rock solid for them instead of wailing over giving birth to a girl .
'Hamari beti toh bete se bhi badhkar hai' This statement might be a compliment for 'aapki beti' but for sure a demeaning one for 'other betis'.
'Issey toh ek beti hi ho jati' This is my personally most hated statement to hear for a baby girl.If there is a couple who fails to bear a child for long or if gives birth to a special child. This sentence jabs the dignity of a girl.
A child is a child.....why compare roses with lilies?????Let us celebrate the being of each child.
You don't need to hold many qualifications to understand this simple statement.
The celebration of this very 'National girl Child day ' seems to be an understatement for the girls.
Let 'putravati bhav' be replaced by 'Santanvati Bhav'
If you are blessed with a girl child, see her as a child first.Don't load her with the expectations of being better than boy, more obedient than a boy....let her be a human instead of a devi....just let her be.....let her be ...
